Bandalore

BANDALORE is a boutique yo-yo brand whose name honors the historical term for the yo-yo. Before “yo-yo” was popularized by Pedro Flores in 1928, the term “bandalore” was used in Europe between the 17th and 19th centuries to describe a simple spinning toy of two discs connected by an axle with a string. BANDALORE’s debut model, the Bandalo:re, uses the “:re” suffix to signify remake, redo, and refresh — a nod to the rebirth of that historical toy in a modern design context.
