About
The All Pro is the primary mold of Humphrey Corporation and the shape collectors refer to as “the Humphrey style.” Introduced when Humphrey entered the yo-yo market in 1975, it outlasted the company’s two other molds — the Classic and the Monarch — to become the sole production shape in the brand’s later years.
As an advertising specialty product, the All Pro was never sold at retail. Each unit was manufactured with a client’s corporate logo, slogan, or artwork imprinted directly on the yo-yo body. Humphrey supplied thousands of distinct branded variants to corporations, small businesses, and organizations as promotional giveaways. The company produced over one million yo-yos per year at its peak and over 1,000 distinct branded variants annually.
The All Pro is a fixed-axle plastic looping yo-yo with a classic imperial profile, consistent with the advertising yo-yo category of its era. Collectors commonly encounter Humphrey All Pro yo-yos branded for a wide range of clients — oil companies, fast food chains, sports teams, and local businesses — making each branded edition a distinct collectible in its own right despite sharing the same underlying mold.
