The Ultra Russell was the mid-tier intermediate model in Bandai’s Super Yo-Yo line. It used a replaceable wooden axle sleeve held by two small rubber rings, with starburst response on the sidewalls compensating for the lack of wooden response on the axle faces. It was positioned above the Auto-Return and Speed Russell models and aimed at players who had graduated from auto-return. Like all models in the line it was released in anime character colorways across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
