Overview
The Rainbow Filipino Twirler is considered the “holy grail” of Goody collecting and the rarest standard model in the lineup. Its defining feature is seven multicolored rhinestones arranged in a star pattern on the face — each stone a different color. This sets it apart from all other Goody models and from competitors like Duncan and Royal, who used uniform single-color rhinestone arrangements. As with all Goody jeweled models, holes were drilled after painting. One example sold for $1,725–$2,000 (yo-yos.net). In the early 2000s, the Royal company produced a limited numbered auction run of Rainbow replicas; these are numbered and distinct from originals. Lucky’s Guide #630.
