About the Invictus
The Invictus launched in April 2022 as “the first of a new series of models that will be the primary focus for 2022,” opening Thesis’s second design arc (Invictus → Aventus) after the SynThesis lineage concluded with the AnTiThesis. The 6061 aluminum mono-metal features subtle wall cuts and a minimalist cup. The wide 46mm catch zone “does not feel wide in the hand.” Despite weighing 65–66 grams it plays faster than Thesis’s 64g throws due to weight distribution. Remarkable colorway depth for its $44.99 price point: 32 total options across 16 matte and 16 glossy finishes spanning solids, fades, and specialty colors. Designed after extensive prototyping as an accessible competition mono-metal.
