About the Apollo
The Apollo is Unspoken Project’s third release and the signature model of team rider Alexis JV. It launched November 16, 2017 at 8 PM EST through YoYoExpert. Machined from 7075 aluminum — a step up in strength and density from 6061 — the Apollo was engineered to be simultaneously light, fast, and stable.
The design features slightly scalloped rims that bring a portion of the rim weight inward toward the center, aiding in maneuverability without sacrificing the stability that comes from rim-heavy distribution. The result is a throw that excels at speed-oriented 1A play while remaining comfortable for grinding. Two colorways were offered at launch: Turquoise and Cherry Fade, both with minimal engraving and a smooth grind-friendly finish.
The Apollo was designed with two material variants — a version with stainless steel accents (63g) and a brass-accented version (64g) — though the primary release was the monometal 7075 aluminum body.
