Sterling Quinn
Sterling Quinn is a competitive 5A (counterweight) yo-yo player from the Rainier Beach area of Seattle, Washington. He joined YoYoFactory’s contest team as a teenager and placed 2nd (2008, 94.06), 4th (2009), and 2nd (2010, 79.63) in 5A at the World Yo-Yo Contest, and YoYoFactory released a named “Sterling Quinn Edition” of Miguel Correa’s Genesis in his honor in 2010. He stepped away from competition around 2012 and was absent from the results record for roughly a decade. Quinn resurfaced in 2024 at the Pacific Northwest Regional, and after an apparent gap in 2025, returned in 2026 with 2nd-place X-Division finishes at both PNWR and the Rocky Mountain Regionals before winning both rounds of 5A at the 2026 National Yo-Yo Contest in Las Vegas to become national champion. He does not appear on any current sponsor’s team roster as of 2026.
