Koyo Hashimoto

Koyo Hashimoto (橋本向陽) is a Japanese yoyo competitor sponsored by Japan Technology, associated with Hokkaido and specializing in the 4A (off-string) division while also competing in 1A. He first reached international competition at the 2015 World Yo-Yo Contest, advancing to the 4A semi-final, and won his first title at the 2016 Japan Open Yoyo Championship (4A). He placed 4th in the 4A division at the World Yo-Yo Contest in both 2018 and 2019, broke into the podium with 3rd-place finishes in 2023 and 2024, and won the World Yo-Yo Contest 4A division outright in 2026 after also winning the Japan National Yo-Yo Contest 4A title that year, his second national title following 2024. His signature throw, the Cirrus, is a Japan Technology off-string model based on the CIEL.
