ZipLine’s [kot-n] is a boutique cotton string designed specifically for fixed-axle wooden yo-yos, blending multiple cotton types through various twist stages. More comfortable than standard cotton and notably durable — fixed-axle player Ed Haponik states it “breaks in great, plays consistently on both sides, holds Kickflip loops wide open, and it LASTS.” Break-in time varies: a few tosses with multi-hole response systems or approximately 2 minutes with textured response surfaces. Wax or chapstick can be applied for additional smoothness on worn response surfaces. Described by ZipLine as “laborious” to produce. White only; sold in 3-packs ($6.00). Hand-spun in Idaho, USA.
