The Origen is an aluminum yo-yo inspired by the Luminator — the yo-yo that launched YoYoTricks.com back in 2009. Designed by MK1 YoYos’ Mark Diehr under the Throwback Skill Toys label, it features an organic flared shape with a tiny bearing and wide response pads that produce smooth, consistently responsive play even at slow throw speeds. The result bridges the gap between fixed-axle and modern responsive styles, offering old-school feel with machined-aluminum precision. Available in red, blue, and black at $19.99.
