Agonist 1.0 keeps the dissimilar-metal joining of the Agonist and fine-tunes other parts to match the feel Hideo Ishida wanted, hence the name. It was built with particular attention to 5A play, which he said made it hard to go back to other yo-yos. Because the rim is bonded, it resists coming loose in impacts and drops and is usable in 1A, 3A and 5A. The store copy links the 2015 WYYC 5A final performance by Ishida.
