History / About
3Points is a signature model of Kenichi Nakamura, known as Nakamura-Meijin, a central figure of Japan’s late-1990s yo-yo boom. It was conceived as a cellphone-strap sized yo-yo that can really be played. The diameter is 31.4 mm after pi (3.14), which gives the name. The first production run included a yo-yo holder strap handmade by Nakamura himself and, per the Yo-Yo Wiki, a replacement rhinestone axle.
