History / About
Zaguri is a 3D-printed wide-style bind yo-yo from YOYOMAKER, the Japanese 3D-printing brand run by Hideki Touhou. Rewind describes it as a 3D-printed model that has reached practical playability, with a light feel that gets up to speed with little force and a double-rim structure that secures power despite the low weight.
The maker states that Zaguri is a string-trick yo-yo. The name comes from the Japanese word for the counterbore machining used to fit electronic parts into electric guitars and basses; here it refers to a recess cut inside the inner rim, a shape that is difficult or troublesome with injection molding or machining. It ships in a 3D-printed box package, and buyers receive a QR-code link to download the print data and print their own in ABS or PETG. Weight varies by about +/-1 g because it is made on a fused-deposition (FDM) printer, and layer lines are part of the product.
