About the Shutter Elite Bimetal
The Shutter Elite Bimetal is Gentry Stein’s most advanced competition model. Based on the World Yo-Yo Contest-winning Shutter Wide Angle geometry, it adds stainless steel rims for dramatically increased spin time and stability. The extra-wide 49mm catch zone — 1mm wider than the Wide Angle — combined with bimetal rim weighting produced a world-record performance for longest continuous trick sequence on a single throw. At 66.8g with a center track bearing, it is Stein’s current competition standard.
