The Shutter is arguably the most commercially successful competition yo-yo ever made. Released as the signature of Gentry Stein — USA Champion and 2014 World Yo-Yo Contest winner — it brought 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum performance to a price point accessible to serious hobbyists. Stein also won the 2014 Worlds with the Shutter, cementing its legacy. The 56mm diameter and 44.4mm width deliver a well-balanced catch zone; the CBC Large CenterTrac bearing and CBC Large Slim Pads provide smooth, silent unresponsive performance. Each throw ships with Type-6 polyester string and an instructional guide.
