About the Nine Dragons
The Nine Dragons (9 Dragons) is one of YoyoFactory’s most mechanically ambitious designs. Its outer shell spins independently of the inner body on a separate set of bearings, creating a visual “Dragon Roar” effect and enabling tricks that are impossible on conventional yo-yos. The main body uses a Large Center Trac bearing while the spinning shells run on Half Spec side bearings. The total system weighs 82.4g — intentionally heavy to maintain momentum through the complex dual-rotation mechanics. Available in Black/Fluorescent, Black/Pink Fade, Galaxy with Glow Caps, Black/Silver with Blue, Aqua with Glow Caps, Orange/Aqua Fade, and several other colorways at $74.99. Replacement shells are sold separately. A bimetal 99 Dragons variant with metal rim-weight was released later.
