History / About
Per Yo-Yo Store Rewind, Surges is Vosun’s first looping model and an OEM of the Blitzball 2.0, the yo-yo of 2A champion Yi Chenghao. Printing, accessories and the initial parts differ from the Blitzball 2.0, and parts and caps are shared between the two. The initial spacers are double-sided gold and no adjustment shims are included.
The brand site calls it the first plastic looping yo-yo by Vosun, dated 2022.10.10, with a precision injection-molded polycarbonate body, an anodized aluminum spacer, stainless steel axle and ball bearing, and a Starburst response. The white-string version ships with a very thin Yi Chenghao string and oil is recommended for the axle and string.
