About the Mystic
The Mystic launched September 5, 2020 at 8 PM EDT through YoYoExpert. Machined from 7068 aluminum — the same high-strength alloy used in the original Riddle — the Mystic represents the natural progression of Unspoken’s monometal line, drawing a direct lineage from the Riddle while advancing the design language.
Where earlier Unspoken throws used H-shapes and organic profiles, the Mystic adopts a V-shape, trading the horizontal stability of an H for greater agility and longer spin times through a more aerodynamic cross-section. Heavier rims increase stability and spin power, while a touch of center weight provides a balanced, responsive string feel that doesn’t feel like a pure rim-heavy competition machine.
At 55mm diameter and 63.7g, the Mystic slots comfortably into the mid-size competition category. Its design was described at launch as a yoyo capable of handling any trick in a player’s bag.
