A collaboration between Luftverk and CLYW, the Tundra blends the design languages of both companies into a single titanium release. The catch zone was inspired by the CLYW Chief and original Yeti; the step near the pad mirrors the Borealis; and the response uses CLYW’s beloved Snow Tire pads. Originally planned for 150 units, 90 had to be destroyed due to anodization issues — leaving only 55 total. First available at the 2016 World Yo-Yo Contest in Cleveland before an online release on August 5th. Each came in exquisite packaging with a hand-stained wood inlay cut by Drew Tetz and custom grey-on-grey patches.
