History / About
Per the YoYoSam listing, The ‘Thing’ is a delrin yo-yo made in collaboration with yo-yo figure Doctor Popular, designed for portability and performance. It has a lightweight design and titanium guts at the center, can be played responsive and, with a bearing switch, unresponsive. The 2023 version is a black body with purple hubs. Toybania’s Stoopid is described as an aluminum re-imagining of The Thing, with the same specs and profile.
