About
The Sleep Machine debuted in 1992 alongside the Roller Woody as one of the first wooden ball-bearing yo-yos. In a single jump it beat the previous wooden yo-yo sleep record by a factor of 10. The butterfly-shaped hard maple body uses the same Tom Kuhn Size I bearing and Turbo Disc response as the SB-2, with an adjustable gap screw. The interior is engraved with string-winding instructions.
Colorways include Natural maple, Black, and White/Blue. Laminated versions with exotic wood cross-sections were introduced in 2001. A “Solarflare” special edition was also produced. Ongoing production by BC YoYo.
