The Unity was a design that came together in 2025 at the yoyo contest UYYC (United YoYo & Kendama Contest). After the contest, the group of designers — Nico, Corban, Big Mike, Matt Mullins, Connor, Brendan, and G2’s Jake — gathered at an Olive Garden and combined their favorite aspects of different yoyos into one design. Jake subsequently refined and manufactured it. A limited initial production was made available exclusively to the design team and their associates before the public two-day preorder window.
