History / About
The Ripper is a limited prototype release from Return Bottoms (also operating as Sickburn Yo-Yo Workshop), listed on the brand’s Bigcartel store as “tiniest 0A-focused yo” featuring an MR85 bearing, sold for $55 and shipped inside its own counterweight rather than a box.
The brand’s forum thread documents an earlier micro-yoyo project under the working title “RIP” (Rest In Pocket) around the same period, but the forum specs for that project (roughly 30mm diameter, 2mm gap, fixed one-piece axle) conflict with The Ripper’s confirmed MR85 bearing, so the two cannot be confirmed as the same design. Physical dimensions for the actual store release were not published.
