The L5 is the fifth in the L series designed by Yicheng Luo, known as Takuto, a Chinese star player who appeared on Chinese TV and placed fourth at the 2008 World Yo-Yo Contest. It arrived five years after the L4 (2009). Its distinctive stepped round shape feels smooth against the string. Where Luo’s earlier play focused on small movements such as chopsticks, this model has substantially increased spin power and supports multiple string trick styles.
