The Galactic Goose was a collaboration between SPYY and fellow Canadian company CLYW (Caribou Lodge Yo-yo Works), two of Canada’s most celebrated boutique yo-yo makers working together for the first time. The collaboration drew on Canadian identity — the “galactic goose” name referencing both a Canadian goose constellation and the cross-company heritage — with maple leaf constellation artwork by Brazilian players Sid Seed and Rodrigo Pires. The yo-yo itself featured an unusual round stepped H-profile at 53.06mm diameter and 39.75mm width, using CLYW’s pad response system. Its packaging extended the constellation theme with a Canadian goose star map.
