The Flying V was Ed Haponik’s signature yo-yo for SPYY, designed around his background in both fixed-axle and modern string trick play. Its defining characteristic was an extremely narrow 32.92mm width despite a full 55.9mm diameter — giving it a profile unlike anything else in SPYY’s lineup. It shipped with a thin C bearing installed, producing tug-return behavior reminiscent of classic yo-yos, but included a standard Size C bearing that players could swap in for unresponsive play. The blend of old-school feel and modern metal construction made it one of SPYY’s most distinctive releases.
