The Survivalist is Spinworthy’s experiment with non-wood polymer construction. The original version was machined from UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) but was discontinued after the plastic axles failed under hard throws and the material proved difficult to glue reliably. A revised version in transparent polycarbonate with a solid 1/4-inch aluminum axle was planned and produced in limited numbers — Glen described it as playing “really nicely when together.” Extremely limited production. Made in Adelaide, South Australia.
