History / About
The Flat Earth is a responsive yo-yo released by Rain City Skills (Vancouver, BC) as part of founder Jeremy McKay’s ongoing exploration of skill-oriented designs alongside the brand’s performance lineup. Released circa 2024 before the company’s closure in early 2025, it was designed to encourage fundamental responsive play and looping practice — a nod to the throwback sensibility that defined many of Rain City’s specialty releases. Limited quantities were sold through the Rain City Skills online store.
