History / About
Patented in 1974 and put into production in 1976, the ProYo was the founding product of the company that became Duncraft, then Duracraft, then Playmaxx in 1988. A rim-weighted, central-spool fixed-axle design with undercuts for string tricks, it was marketed as “copied by many, duplicated by none” and remained in production until it was replaced by the ProYo II in October 1996.
