The PixelApe is co-designed by Ray Smith and MFD team manager Chris Allen (“Dr. Yo-Yo”). The angular gap geometry and open cup were deliberately engineered to encourage new trick design and grind experimentation, rather than simply optimizing for competition specs. 7075 aircraft aluminum provides added strength. The PixelApe is considered one of MFD’s most visually striking throws, frequently showcasing their most elaborate in-house anodizations.
