The Yo-Yo Museum describes the 1999 Luminator as a take-apart hologram ball-bearing yo-yo marked “Silicone Implanted Self-Balancing Ball Bearing Luminator”, shaped like the Duncan Professional and retailing for US$9. Later models included a pad return system. The YoYo Wiki also says it was popularized by YoYoTricks.com tutorials.
