The width was trimmed slightly from 46 mm to 44.54 mm for improved string slack control, and the weight was increased from 63.14 g to 65.4 g by repositioning mass in the rims, resulting in longer spin times while maintaining the yo-yo’s characteristic angular handling. The 2.0 was released during a period when Mordoch continued winning European championships, making it a live competition-developed product rather than a static catalog item.
