The Terrarian was born from an unlikely partnership: independent game studio Re-Logic, creators of the open-ended 2D sandbox game Terraria, approached One Drop in early 2015 with the idea of adding yo-yos to the game. Over the following months One Drop worked with Re-Logic to upload several classic One Drop models into Terraria as in-game weapons — and then collaborated with Re-Logic head Andrew “Redigit” Spinks to design an original real-world counterpart.
The Terrarian features a wide wing-shaped profile engineered to maximize string-segment catchability. The launch colorways — Crimson, Surface Grass, and others — map directly to biomes players explore in Terraria. It ships with Spike Side Effects.
