The Nessie is the second release from G Squared, arriving in 2012 as a follow-up to the Albatross. Named after the mythical Loch Ness Monster, the Nessie was described by reviewers as underrated compared to the Albatross despite being a capable player in its own right. Like the Albatross, it came with a One Drop 10-Ball bearing and clear flowable silicone. Both the Albatross and Nessie received AL7 (7075 aluminum) variants under the G2 “AL7 Series” branding that applied to multiple models across the brand’s history. The Nessie design has been revisited in 2022 (Nessie reissue) and again in 2024 as the Nessie 24.
