About the MoNo 54mm
The MoNo 54mm is At Design Lab’s first product and the flagship of the MoNo series. Released in autumn 2021 in a single production run of 100 pieces worldwide, it sold out in approximately five minutes at the brand’s direct store and in one minute at Spingear Japan. Development involved five prototype stages, including 3D-printed verification models and aluminum prototypes.
The design is a high-wall W-shape drawing inspiration from the CLYW Peak (rim weight structure) and YoYoJam Hitman (rim weight distribution). It is positioned for calm, leisurely trick execution rather than speed competition — a conscious choice the brand frames as an appreciation for flow over performance metrics. “MoNo” signals a single-material, single-form philosophy. Smooth Ultimatte Coating, in a Silver/Space Gray half-and-half finish, was the only colorway produced.
