The original Exia was released in 2020 and had three production runs, making it the most popular Mk1 yoyo to date. The Brass Exia swaps out the Exia’s steel weight rings for heavier brass rings, giving it more overall mass and power while retaining the Exia’s wide wing shape, comfortable catch, smooth blast finish, higher-grade aluminum alloy, and 10mm axle.
The first run released June 30, 2023, in a limited batch of 120 pieces across 3 colorways (Lilac, Green, Blue). A second production run followed in December 2023 with 150 pieces across 3 more colorways (Clear, Rose, and a Black “signature edition” colorway for Mk1 team rider Elliot Ding). It is an unresponsive, bind-required yoyo aimed at advanced trick play.
