About the Metal Skyva
The Metal Skyva is the aluminum version of MagicYoYo’s SKYVA collaboration with Jeffrey Pang of Luftverk. The machined 6061 aluminum body uses a very fine media-blast technique for a premium matte feel. A Delrin (POM) finger spin cup is integrated into the hub — chosen for its “buttery smooth,” low-friction properties during finger spin tricks. The weight distribution differs significantly from the plastic SKYVA, providing more stability and spin time at the cost of some of the original’s floaty character. Response is handled by the Luftverk LuftPAD. A Metal Skyva 2 followed with updated colorways. Available in Pink with Blue Cap, Purple with Yellow Cap, Green with Green Cap, and Red with Black Cap.
