Alpha Sapphire AR-Mega Evolution is an evolution of the already-archived “Alpha Sapphire AR” (A6061 body / A7075 rim), enlarged and widened to match current trends. It exploits the slight density difference between A6061 and A7075 to shift weight toward the rim for powerful, long-lasting spin, while avoiding the abrupt “layered” feel of a true bimetal — described by the brand as retaining a smooth, unified single-metal feel. The enlarged size increases string contact area for stability on larger tricks.
