The D Bearing Joyride is the current production version of Recess’s founding flagship organic monometal, updated from the v3 profile with a D-size bearing. Recess explains the reasoning: D bearings are wider (5mm inner width) than A-size small bearings (4mm), giving players the agility and RPMs of a small-bearing system without the narrow string gap that would cause friction and hinder modern trick selection. The result is a fast, agile Joyride with a full-width gap. One colorway (Riley Moore “Silly Goose”) is a collaboration with Riley Moore of YoYo Memes fame — a half-swap yellow/aqua edition.
