The Prime is the first high-performance aluminum throw from Ioiô Fênix, initially developed as a Fênix-branded prototype around 2010 before being relaunched as part of the Brazilian Yoyo lineup for the 2012 division debut. The Prime’s hubstacks (lateral side bearings) enable horizontal plane-change tricks and ripcord spin play not possible on conventional yo-yos. A “Prime by Marechal” signature edition was also produced. The Prime laid the groundwork for the Brazilian Yoyo premium aluminum catalog that followed.
