The Hybrid uses a polycarbonate body with Delrin (POM) rims — an unusual material combination that gives it a uniquely soft and comfortable feel distinct from standard plastic/metal hybrids. The POM rims provide a smooth, quiet play experience while still contributing rim weighting for stability. A Kenta Edition variant was produced in collaboration with mowl ambassador Kenta Kushiro. The Hybrid later served as a technical foundation for the Protostar Hybrid Ti collaboration with YoYoFactory.
