The High Wall PC was released on April 4, 2021 (Yo-Yo Day) as a reimagining of mowl’s older aluminum High Wall model. Developed from the concept of “a model that recognizes the original fun of yo-yoing” — many players hesitated to throw expensive full-metal yo-yos outside, so mowl updated the design to polycarbonate so players would actually want to take it out. The new version is approximately 4mm wider in both diameter and width compared to the original, with a large 61.9mm diameter and thick PC rim for powerful spin. The same metal hub system used in the Hybrid and Surveil balances the overall weight. Artwork by KALON DESIGN STUDIO follows a “Life’s Journey” theme through a series of sequential pieces. A High Wall SH variant (61.9mm, 44mm wide, 69.5g) was also produced.
