About the Heavy Cream
Announced in August 2010, the Heavy Cream was Crucial’s first all-metal yo-yo — a pivotal step for founder Paul Yath after establishing Crucial’s reputation with precision-machined Delrin plastics. Drawing from the popular Milk design, the Heavy Cream translated the same profile into aluminum, featuring smooth spin, beautiful anodization, and laser engraving. It demonstrated that Crucial’s design philosophy scaled naturally from plastic to metal and opened the door to the brand’s later high-end metal lineup.
