The Good and Evil 1 marked HSpin’s return to production after the post-boom hiatus of the early 2000s. It introduced the Good and Evil design philosophy: a wide butterfly-shaped bi-metal with a large gap and recessed response. The aluminum body featured brass weight rings, a direct evolution of the HandQuake bi-metal concept applied to a string-trick-oriented shape. Response was provided by Dif-e-Yo’s Dif Pads — an unusual third-party choice for a precision Swiss manufacturer. Approximately 150 serial-numbered units were produced.
