History
The Gladiator Slave was Frank Difeo’s return to active releasing after several years of quieter production. A tribute to the 2004 Worlds mod contest Gladiator — but without the side spikes — it was described as fusing “old school style with modern competition level performance.” The wide, flat-rimmed butterfly shape carried an intricate carved cup design and precision weighted set screws.
The Gladiator Slave was notable for introducing the silicone Dif-Binder response pads, replacing the traditional Dif Pads that Frank had used since the early days. A gold acid wash variant was produced in limited quantities alongside the standard anodized options.
