The Legato is General-Yo’s first bimetal yoyo. Built off the Prestige’s profile, it adds stainless steel rings set into the cup for increased rim weight, delivering rock-solid stability and long spin times. Also notable as the first General-Yo designed in the USA but machined in China.
The Legato introduced Ernie’s string-centering K bearing — the first General-Yo to ship with this bearing type. Limited production. Discontinued. See also: Legato II (2022).
