The KLR is named for the initials of its three co-designers: Ernie Kaiser, Alex Lee, and James Reed. An aggressive modified V-shape profile in 7075 aluminum, designed to push stability and speed for competitive play. Very limited original production. Inspired later General-Yo designs including the Royal 1.
The KLR was reissued in August 2024 in a slightly refined version with updated dimensions and color options (Black/Red Splash, Black/Red Fade, Powder Blue). The 2024 reissue retails at approximately $48.
