History / About
A tennis ball yo-yo from Festival’s Be-A-Sport series, pictured in a yellow-green and an orange version on the YoYo Wiki. The Yo-Yo Museum lists the tennis ball among the series’ models, which Festival sold from the late 1960s into the late 1970s. Release year is not documented in the sources consulted. Festival Toys was a division of Union Wadding Company of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, according to the Yo-Yo Museum, and was associated with Wilf Schlee Jr., owner of Cheerio and Hi-Ker.
