The Evolution was released in 2024 and quickly became one of G2’s most active models, with both a standard 6061 version and an AL7 Evolution using 7068 aluminum (not 7075 — G2 labels their 7068 releases under the AL7 banner). The AL7 Evolution has received a larger number of colorway drops than the 6061 base version, including Patreon-exclusive colorways (Frogger, Sea of Flames, Oceanic Detonation) distributed only to G2’s Patreon subscribers.
