Kaguzuchi (加具土命) is a high-end three-layer bi-metal: in addition to the usual outer stainless rim, it has an inner aluminum rim. The en official store says that although it resembles the structure of trending tri-material models, its design philosophy and purpose are unique. The aluminum rim sits inside to support the winged stainless rim from below, improving handling without sacrificing outer-rim spin power. Since it is all-metal and the parts mesh effectively, it disperses impact well and is more durable than typical bi-metals. Spin and stickiness come from the outer-rim weight distribution, and handling from the mid-ship rim.
